become a mentor

Mentors

In the process of designing a robot, constructing it, and actually making it work correctly, student team members have to both learn and apply knowledge in the areas of engineering, programming, CAD and design, machining, and so on. Adults with expertise in these areas are essential for teaching students the necessary skills and guiding them through some of the more complicated steps. Other adult mentors provide direction with regards to business, helping team members organize outreach events and giving informed advice on how to write emails and stay connected with other teams, professionals and sponsors.

Mentors are always appreciated in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, CAD, CNC, programming, business, project management, marketing, or graphic design, so if you are interested in becoming a mentor, please email us at ghs.robotics@greendaleschools.org.

We really appreciate your time - your experience helps our team grow and reach its highest goals.
