- Observe safety rules and posted safety signs
- No horseplay!
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- No long earrings, necklaces, hoodie drawstrings, or loose sleeves near power tools or robot; keep long hair tied back
- Know the location of first aid kit, eye wash, fire extinguisher
- No eating/drinking near the robot, computers, or tools
- Wear safety glasses when y

- Have a plan when working with tools - don’t “wing it”
- No careless handling of equipment - do not pull by cords
- Lift properly to avoid injury and ask for help when needed
- Tell an adult immediately if you are injured
- Help clean up the workshop when finished working
- Use good judgment and be responsible for your own safety!
